 Once we have discussed your requirements and you have chosen the appropriate service we will make all the contacts to organise and fulfil your requests so that your loved one and/or friend can rest in peace.

Our services include, but not limited to the following:

- arrange and collect the necessary death certificate from the doctor/hospital/coroner

- fulfil all legal, social, cultural and religious requirements relating to the deceased

- transfer the deceased to our mortuary

- discuss the type of service that suits your individual needs, such as , cremation,

       burial and where you would like the funeral to be held

- contact a clergyman/celebrant based on your requirement and religious beliefs

- show you a display of coffins to choose from

- take you through a catalogue of flowers available

- prepare and insert newspaper notices

- organise the booking with the church, chapel, cemetery, crematorium as required

- prepare the deceased in his/her favourite and appropriate clothing as supplied

- give you a fixed cost on all essential services and a realistic estimate on any variable cost, for example, newspaper notices

- attend and conduct the service in a professional manner with adequate staff available

- register the death and order the official death certificate to be sent directly to the person ordering the funeral service

Other services available:

- discuss the facilities available for a suitable wake if required

- offer a time for viewing and reflection, free of charge in our Chapel during normal business hours or for a nominal fee

      out of hours

- printing of memorial cards and service booklets

- supply, free of charge, a memorial book including signatures of those attending the funeral,

- religious emblems on the coffin in accordance with religious beliefs and customs

- arrange for cars to transport family and friends to and from the service as required

 

We also offer free professional advice on funeral planning, such as, prepaid and prearranged funerals.

These arrangements ensure that your wishes are noted and all family details are documented, thus relieving family or friends of the necessity of locating the relevant information at this difficult and emotional time.
